Management
Origin Scotland is run by an executive committee, numbering usually around 10, and drawn from many different churches including most of the major denominations and a number of larger independant churches. The committee has an oversight group which has access to its decision-making process and is made up of senior church and mission leaders from mainstream denominations.

Company History
In 1997 Colin Peckham, then director of music at a large city-centre church in Edinburgh, approached the leadership of his church and that of two others with a plan to found a new ministry, entirely non-denominational and based around outreach and unity with other believers. They caught the vision and agreed to the new organisation. In 2001, after several major events, the churches and Origin's leadership decided it would be prudent to set up the ministry as a company and charity in its own right, while maintaining strong links to the originating churches, and so Origin Scotland was formally incorporated in early 2002. Since then the ministry has expanded with many more churches represented on the board and in the various artistic groups that make up the company's projects, and today we operate independently but with an oversight committee drawn partly from the leadership of the original churches, among others.
