Services

Origin Scotland is pleased to be of service to the Christian community in any way that we can. There are no charges for any of the services that we provide (unless specified below). We simply ask that if you find our services helpful, a suitable donation be made to help with the running of the ministry and to cover travel expenses (if any).

Consultancy
Would you like someone from outside your church music/av team to come along and listen to your group, make suggestions as to how you could improve it, offer general advice on music/pa/multimedia technology? Or perhaps there are difficulties within the group that could use an outside perspective to troubleshoot. Or perhaps you would like help setting up a ministry philosophy for your worship team? We have many years of experience in church music, worship and technology, and may be able to help. Contact us to discuss your requirements.

Internet Promotion
Origin Scotland provides a website to help the Christian community - www.eventsguide.org. On this you can promote your events, advertise your church (currently Lothian, but expanding soon), even advertise rooms for students anywhere in the UK. This is promoted to Churches in Edinburgh by Origin. We are also prepared to help with website design and creation for you (time permitting in our schedules).

Design & Marketing
There may be a small charge for design, and of course to cover printing costs, but if you have an event coming up, perhaps we can help with design and printing of your promotional materials, or help develop a corporate identity for your organisation, or any other graphic design issues. See our recently launched Origin Creative Media team for more details. In some cases we are also able to promote your event through mailings, although there can be a small charge for this to cover costs.

Music & Worship
Would you like to give your hard-working church musicians a rest for a day? Or have an extra praise & worship service on a Sunday evening? Contact us with your requirements. We are always pleased to come and help out locally on the ground - be it in providing the music and a little bit of inspiration for your own church service, or hosting a larger event in your church. Our one proviso for non-church-service events is that they cannot clash with the regular service times of other churches in your area.

Event Management & Logistics
Want to put on a big event locally but don't have the experience? Talk to us about how we can help. In any way from consultancy all the way to running the whole event for you - Praise, Worship, Outreach, Missions... You decide what you would like us to do, and we will do our best to help you make it a success.

Workshops & Training
From time to time, we offer specific training. We are currently looking at a weekend of seminars in 2005, but we are also able to come along to your church just to help out your ministry team. This could be in music or on the technical side.

Resources
Origin Scotland supplies resources to the Church through publications both electronic and in print.
