Student Church Guides

Origin Scotland publishes Student Church Guides for university towns in Scotland, enabling students to better find their local churches. These are distributed free of charge via the existing Christian Union network in colleges and universities around the country. The guides currently cover churches in Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee, Perth, Paisley, Stirling and St Andrews, with future expansion likely. An online edition is also available, as well as an iPhone app.

Student CU reps wishing to get more information on obtaining these guides should contact us well in advance of their freshers' weeks.

Tourist Church Guides

We also publish a tourist church guide for Edinburgh. This lists services in foreign languages and main city-centre English churches. These are distributed to hotels, backpackers lodges, guest houses and tourist information points in Edinburgh free of charge.

Churches wishing to be listed in these guides guide should note: inclusion is at the discretion of Origin Scotland and is subject to available space and eligibility. A donation is expected to help towards the cost of publication.
