Chalmers is a friendly and informal evangelical church on the south side of central Edinburgh, committed to the simple gospel, the Bible and prayer. We welcome people of all ages, all church backgrounds or none, and especially those thinking about the Christian faith for the first time. Sunday services include groups for children and young people, and programmes for students. There are also lots of different small groups that meet midweek. For more information and meeting locations please check the website.

Chalmers Church Edinburgh At Chalmers, we think that the best way to make the most of your time as an undergraduate student is to get to know Jesus better, whether that means getting to know him for the first time, or growing in your relationship with him. We therefore run a number of groups and events for undergraduate students that are specifically designed to enable that to happen. During term time, for example, we run a weekly Bible study called FOCUS, where we study the Bible together and help each other to think through how it applies to student life.
Being a student at Chalmers means that you are also part of the wider church family. You will experience that as we gather together as a whole church family on Sundays, as we share meals in various homes, and as we serve alongside each other.
We know that it can be daunting to walk into a new church if you don't know anyone, so if it would be helpful, we would love to meet you beforehand and spend some time getting to know you better. To arrange that, or to ask any other questions about student life at Chalmers, please get in touch with Adam on the email address provided.
