St George's Tron is an evangelical Christian church right at the heart of the busy city centre. In our community we pursue biblical discipleship in our walk with God and with each other, with a deliberate focus on mission and on compassionate service to the world around us. Situated on the main shopping street in Glasgow, we are open seven days a week, where our popular social enterprise café, the Wild Olive Tree, runs from Monday to Saturday, and serves home-made, affordable soup, bread, scones, cakes and hot and cold drinks. On Sundays our main service is Café Church, which starts at 12.30pm, although we share a simple lunch together from 12 noon, before moving into worship, prayer and teaching. Café Church is followed by Sunday Lounge, a more relaxed time of fellowship and a perfect space for new students to meet and get to know other people. We are a mixed age and background congregation, with a majority in their 20s and 30s and we worship in a contemporary style. Our students are an integral part of SGT; our student group (YAG = Young Adults Group) meets once a week during term time with various other social, spiritual and special focus events
